Job summary

Johnson Controls in Kolkata seeks an experienced Deputy Project Manager - IBMS to lead planning, execution, and delivery of Integrated Building Management System projects. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure timely completion, quality and safety while meeting commercial objectives.

The role requires 8–12 years in IBMS/BMS/ELV project execution and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and ELV systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute IBMS projects from initiation to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams for seamless project delivery.
• Oversee installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of IBMS and associated ELV systems.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Ensure project execution adheres to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Track project progress and prepare periodic status reports, MIS, and project documentation.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Handle project risks, change requests, and escalation management.
• Support procurement and material planning activities to avoid project delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with engineering and programming teams for system integration and troubleshooting.

Job Summary
