Job summary

Johnson Controls in Kolkata seeks an experienced Deputy Project Manager to lead Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) projects. You will drive end-to-end execution, coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs and internal teams, and ensure timely delivery with quality and safety compliance.

The role requires 8–12 years of IBMS/BMS/ELV project execution experience in large facilities such as IT parks, hospitals, airports or commercial buildings.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Project Manager - IBMS to support the planning, execution, and delivery of Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) projects. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, stakeholder coordination, resource management, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining quality, safety, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute IBMS projects from initiation to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams for seamless project delivery.
• Oversee installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of IBMS and associated ELV systems.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Ensure project execution adheres to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Track project progress and prepare periodic status reports, MIS, and project documentation.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Handle project risks, change requests, and escalation management.
• Support procurement and material planning activities to avoid project delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with engineering and programming teams for system integration and troubleshooting.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical and execution-related support.
