Job summary

Johnson Controls in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Project Manager for IBMS (CFS) projects. You will lead end-to-end execution, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery of security and building technologies systems.

The role requires 8–15 years of project management experience, hands-on work with CCTV and Access Control, and a background in Electrical/Instrumentation engineering. PMP certification is advantageous for progression.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of experience in project execution and project management.
• Hands-on experience in IBMS/CFS projects involving CCTV and Access Control Systems.
• Experience managing commercial buildings, data centers, airports, metro, healthcare, industrial, or smart city projects.
• Proven experience handling multiple stakeholders and large project teams.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering; PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of IBMS and CFS projects from kickoff to final handover.
• Lead implementation of CCTV, Access Control, Visitor Management, Command Center, Intrusion Detection, and integrated security solutions.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to milestones and contractual commitments.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and handover activities.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure project profitability through effective cost control and resource management.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site execution teams.
• Identify project risks and implement timely mitigation plans.
• Drive billing milestones, project documentation, variation orders, and collections.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer standards.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide status reports to management.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline.
• PMP or Project Management Certification will be an added advantage.
