Life Insurance Corporation of India is seeking an Insurance Advisor for a part-time hybrid position based in Lucknow. You will meet clients to explain LIC life and health insurance offerings, assess financial needs, and guide proposal completion.

You’ll also manage servicing, renewals, and referrals while participating in LIC training and local marketing activities. Ideal candidates have strong insurance knowledge, customer service skills, and excellent communication.

Role Description The Insurance Advisor will support customers in understanding and selecting suitable LIC insurance and investment products based on their financial needs and life goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting prospective clients, explaining product features and benefits, conducting basic financial needs assessments, and assisting with proposal forms and documentation. The role involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, providing policy servicing support, and following up on renewals and referrals. The Insurance Advisor will also participate in training programs, local marketing activities, and performance reviews organized by LIC. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Lucknow, where in-person meetings and branch visits are combined with some work-from-home activities such as follow-ups, calls, and online consultations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge or aptitude in Insurance and basic Finance concepts relevant to life and health insurance products.
• Candidates should possess Consulting and Customer Service skills to understand client needs and provide appropriate product guidance.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
• Candidates should demonstrate ethical conduct, integrity, and commitment to regulatory compliance and responsible selling practices.
• Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, the ability to build long-term relationships, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfort with basic digital tools (email, messaging apps, online forms) and willingness to learn LIC systems and processes.
• Minimum educational qualification as per LIC and regulatory requirements (typically completion of secondary or higher secondary education); prior sales or financial services experience is an advantage.
