Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Indore, India seeks instrumentation professionals to support commissioning, start-up, and operation of PLC/SCADA systems. You will perform loop checks, troubleshoot instrument failures, and coordinate with vendor teams at the site to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, verification of P&ID drawings, and continual monitoring to sustain reliable plant operations in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of process Instrumentation & Analyzers.
• Experience in commissioning and start-up of PLC/SCADA.
• Loop checking of Instruments at site to ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of instrumentation failures and PLC work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of Instruments.
• Monitor and maintain control systems to ensure continuous operation and reliability.
• Verify the documentation, P&ID's, Drawings and specifications.
• Inter discipline coordination and communication for commissioning.
• Coordinate with PLC/SCADA vendors and Instruments vendors at site.
• Process operation control philosophy verification and corrections based on site condition.
• GPRS communication troubleshooting.
