Job summary

Suresh M in Navi Mumbai is seeking a seasoned engineer with 5–9 years in furnaces, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, boilers and related static equipment for fabrication projects.

The role involves instrumentation P&ID preparation, PLC/SCADA input design, detailed interconnections, and bid estimation support. You will coordinate procurement and vendor negotiations while ensuring design integrity and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 9 years experience in furnaces, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, boiler and static equipment/fabrication.
• Experience with instrumentation, P&ID development and element selection would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Instrumentation Preparation of P&ID and instrument list and instrument datasheet.
• PLC System Preparation of I/O list and PLC design inputs for SCADA development and PLC programming.
• Procurement: collecting quotations, shortlisting vendors, negotiating terms for electrical, instrumentation and interconnecting materials.
• Interconnecting: creating cable schedules, JB schedules, cable layouts and procurement lists for cables and trays.
• Estimation: bidding estimation support for projects.

Role & responsibilities

• Instrumentation Preparation of P&ID and instrument list & instrument technical datasheet.
• PLC System Preparation of I/O list and design of PLC system, preparing of necessary inputs required for SCADA development and PLC programming.
• Procurement Collecting quotations & making comparisons, shortlisting vendors, negotiating rates, terms of payment for procurement ofelectrical, instruments, and interconnecting materials, motors, and Outsourcing of PLC panels andelectricalpanels.
• Interconnecting – Preparation of cable schedule, JB schedule, and cable layout drawing. Making a list of power & control cables, cable trays & accessories for procurement.
• Estimation for bidding purposes.
