Job summary

You will prepare layouts, control interlock diagrams, and collaborate with engineers and vendors to ensure reliable plant instrumentation and control systems.

The role requires a Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related field, with proficiency in SP3D, Navisworks, MicroStation, and MS Office. Immediate joining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic and detailed engineering drawings in 2D & 3D with procurement inputs.
• Prepare layouts for location, tray, tube, cable routing, and ISA symbols.
• Create control & interlock drawings and system architecture diagrams for offshore projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors; attend tech meetings and project kick-offs.
• Ensure instrumentation and control system designs meet offshore EPC requirements.

We are urgently seeking to recruit an Instrumentation Designer with 5-10 years of experience in the same field and a Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or any relevant engineering course.

Position: 2D/3DDesigner (TC8/M1)

Joining Time: Immediate

Duties & Responsibilities:

Developing Basic & detailed engineering drawing in 2D & 3D, providing procurement related inputs, erection deliverables of Plant instrumentation and control system for Offshore Engineering projects

Excellent process core knowledge of Offshore EPC projects

Preparation of various layouts such as location, tray, tube, cable routing, MCT by implementing the control & instrumentation requirement like field instruments, analyzers, Local indicators, ISA symbols, notification, monitoring, control & interlocks for the reliable operation of the plant.

Attending Techno commercial meeting with vendors, customer discussion for prebid meeting/project kick off/ Project document approvals & others

Candidates with automation commissioning knowledge is preferrable

Working collaboratively with engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff

Attending training/ seminars and conferences, expediting with vendors/customers/inter department

Within the latitude permitted by his position, preventing the overrunning of instrumentation equipment budgets, both in manpower terms and purchased equipment costs on assigned projects.

Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Auto CAD, Instrumentation tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI & Outlook

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, well-organized, self- motivated including communication skills, giving professional presentations, and working in a team environment.
