Job summary

Hexr Factory is seeking an Instructional Design QA Specialist to review learning content across scripts, storyboards, animatics and final production. You will ensure alignment with learning objectives, assess clarity and sequence, and validate that narration matches visuals and activities.

The role requires strong instructional design knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide timestamped, actionable feedback to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review scripts, storyboards, animatics and final videos for instructional effectiveness.
• Verify alignment with defined learning objectives, content briefs and intended audiences.
• Assess whether concepts are introduced in a clear and logical sequence.
• Check explanations, examples, activities and summaries for accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure visuals, animation and on-screen text correctly support the narration.
• Identify confusing explanations, missing learning steps, contradictions and unnecessary repetition.
• Evaluate pacing, information density, cognitive load and audience engagement.
• Review language for clarity, simplicity, grammar and audience appropriateness.
• Review content for cultural sensitivity, inclusivity and appropriate representation.
• Validate consistency across approved scripts, storyboards, voice-over, subtitles and final output.
• Identify audiovisual issues that affect comprehension, including unclear visuals, poor timing, incorrect emphasis and distracting presentation.
• Classify issues by category, severity and production stage.
• Provide clear, timestamped and actionable feedback to production teams.
• Distinguish genuine instructional defects from subjective creative preferences.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, subject-matter experts, writers, animators and production leads.
• Track recurring feedback and convert it into SOPs, checklists and preventive guidelines.
• Analyse rejected or repeatedly revised content to identify root causes and process gaps.
• Participate in pre-production reviews to prevent issues from reaching later stages.
• Conduct final compliance and quality checks before delivery.

We are looking for an Instructional Design QA Specialist to review learning content across scripts, storyboards, animatics and final production.

Preferred Experience

• 1.5-5 years of experience in instructional design, content quality assurance, educational content review or digital learning production.
• Experience reviewing videos, animation, digital lessons or interactive learning content.
• Familiarity with scripts, storyboards, animatics, voice-over, subtitles and video-production workflows.
• Experience working with learning objectives, content standards and subject-matter experts.
• Familiarity with issue trackers, spreadsheets, review platforms or content-management systems.
