Job summary

Schoolnet India Limited is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging, skills-based learning content for workplace readiness and digital literacy, including AI, LLM, and Python topics.

The role involves curriculum design, storyboarding, content development, and eLearning authoring across soft skills, communication, and employability. Excellent English communication and strong instructional design expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Content Development, or related field.
• Strong experience in curriculum design, storyboarding, and content authoring.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and structure skills-based curricula for employability and workplace training.
• Develop detailed storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, and eLearning scripts.
• Create clear, engaging, learner-friendly content with strong command of English.
• Apply instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, 5E, and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
• Develop interactive learning activities including scenarios, role plays, case studies, assessments, quizzes, and reflection exercises.
• Design content for digital-first, blended, and instructor-led learning programs.
• Collaborate with SMEs, multimedia designers, trainers, and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Review and edit learning content to ensure accuracy, consistency, learner engagement, and instructional effectiveness.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and continuously improve learning materials.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging, skills-based learning content that prepares learners for workplace success.

The role will involve curriculum design, storyboarding, content development, and eLearning authoring across areas such as soft skills, communication, interview readiness, digital skills, employability, and life skills.

The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills, strong instructional design expertise, and the ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging and learner-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and structure skills-based curricula for employability and workplace training.
• Develop detailed storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, and eLearning scripts.
• Create clear, engaging, and learner-friendly content with a strong command of English.
• Apply instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, 5E, and Bloom’s Taxonomy.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), multimedia designers, trainers, and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Content Development, or a related field.
• Strong experience in curriculum design, storyboarding, and content authoring.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or similar eLearning authoring tools.
• Ability to create content across soft skills, communication, digital skills (AI, LLM, etc.), employability, and workplace readiness.
• Experience in corporate training, employability programs, skilling projects, or EdTech will be preferred.
• Good understanding of digital learning and blended learning methodologies.
• Strong research, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver content within defined timelines.
