Job summary

Pxsn is seeking an instructional designer to create engaging, learner‑centric eLearning experiences for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, visual designers, and developers to transform business requirements into structured courses.

This role involves storyboarding, developing outlines, learning objectives, assessments, and scripts; applying ADDIE or SAM; and aligning content with LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in instructional design / eLearning development.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with ADDIE, SAM, or similar frameworks.
• Experience creating storyboards, outlines, learning objectives, assessments, and scripts.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent content structuring, writing, and editing.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate complex information into learner-friendly content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability manage multiple projects.
• Basic understanding of LMS platforms and digital learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze learning requirements, target audiences, and business objectives to define appropriate learning strategies.
• Design learning experiences aligned with defined learning objectives and learner needs.
• Develop course outlines, storyboards, scripts, and other instructional design documentation.
• Apply appropriate instructional design models and learning methodologies to course development.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather, validate, and structure content.
• Design assessments, knowledge checks, activities, and other learning interactions.
• Work with visual designers, multimedia developers, and eLearning developers to translate storyboards into final courses.
• Review developed courses to ensure alignment with approved storyboards, learning objectives, and quality standards.
• Incorporate stakeholder and client feedback and manage revisions effectively.
• Ensure courses are learner-friendly, logically structured, engaging, and consistent.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed timelines and quality expectations.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, technologies, and best practices in digital learning and instructional design.
