Job summary

SGS India in Mumbai is seeking an Inspection Engineer - Electrical to perform store end inspections of materials on receipt and ensure checks are completed within 3 working days. You will classify products, coordinate with store agency labour, and communicate findings to suppliers for rectifications.

Your role includes coordinating supplier rectifications, recording acceptances or rejections in SAP/SQMS, and liaising with AEML QA for exceptions and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out store end inspection for the Materials received in stores within 3 working days.
• Open up random samples with store agency contract labour and check; list of checks and product classification attached as Annex 1.
• Intimating supplier to take up rectifications / replacements, if observations / defects noticed at stores.
• Co-ordinate for supplier rectifications / replacements.
• Acceptance / Rejection in SAP / SQMS Portal.
• Co-ordinate with AEML QA for Exceptions / Escalations resolution.
