Primary Role
To manage inbound and assigned sales leads, qualify prospects, conduct initial sales discussions, generate sales opportunities, coordinate product demos and ensure timely follow-up and conversion in line with the assigned sales targets.
1. Lead Management & Qualification
- Receive and manage leads from assigned databases, enquiries and other approved sources.
- Contact leads within the defined response timeline.
- Understand customer requirements and qualify prospects based on need, budget, authority and purchase timeline.
- Maintain accurate lead details and status in the CRM/sales tracker.
- Categorize leads as hot, warm, cold or not qualified.
2. Customer Engagement
- Conduct calls, emails and online meetings with prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide relevant product information.
- Maintain regular communication with qualified prospects.
- Ensure timely follow-up on every active lead.
3. Product Presentation & Demo Coordination
- Explain product features, benefits and applicable use cases to prospects.
- Conduct basic product demonstrations wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with Pre-Sales/Product teams for detailed or customized demonstrations.
- Ensure prospects receive the required product information and sales collateral.
4. Opportunity Development
- Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities.
- Identify customer requirements and map them to suitable Mindlogicx solutions.
- Coordinate with BDA/BDM/Sales Manager for opportunities requiring field visits or strategic engagement.
- Ensure qualified opportunities are transferred to the appropriate sales owner with complete information.
5. Proposal & Follow-up
- Coordinate with the concerned sales team for proposals and quotations.
- Follow up on proposals, demos and commercial discussions.
- Track customer feedback and next action dates.
- Ensure no qualified opportunity remains unattended or without a defined next action.
6. Sales Conversion
- Support the sales team in converting qualified opportunities into customers.
- Follow up with decision-makers and influencers.
- Support closure of smaller/inside-sales opportunities directly where assigned.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
7. Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain an updated lead and opportunity pipeline.
- Track lead source, qualification status, opportunity value, probability and expected closure date.
- Identify ageing and inactive leads and initiate appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain sufficient qualified opportunities to support assigned targets.
8. Customer Database Management
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect databases.
- Update contact details, discussions, requirements and follow-up history.
- Ensure all sales activities are recorded in the CRM/sales tracker.
- Avoid duplicate or incomplete lead records.
9. Sales Reporting
- Submit daily/weekly activity reports as required.
- Report number of leads contacted, qualified, demos conducted, opportunities created and conversions.
- Provide weekly pipeline and follow-up status to the Reporting Manager.
- Highlight challenges, inactive leads and opportunities requiring management intervention.
