Job summary

People Alliance Workforce Pvt Ltd seeks a skilled IM Manager / Assistant Manager – Blow Molding to lead daily blow molding production for rigid packaging products, caps and closures. You will drive output to meet quality, quantity and delivery targets, while managing machines, molds and process changes.

The role requires 6–12 years of hands-on experience in blow molding within the rigid plastic packaging sector, with a diploma/BE/BTech in mechanical/plastic/production engineering.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of hands-on Blow Molding / Rigid Plastic Packaging experience.
• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Plastic / Production Eng; CIPET a plus.
• CIPET qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day blow molding production operations for rigid packaging products, caps and closures.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality, quantity and delivery schedules.
• Handle EBM / ISBM / IBM machines, molds, process parameters and changeovers.
• Monitor machine performance, cycle time, output, rejection and downtime.
• Troubleshoot process, machine, mold and quality-related issues.
• Optimize process parameters to improve productivity and reduce material consumption.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Tool Room, Planning and Stores teams.
• Ensure proper mold setting, machine setup and product changeover.
• Monitor and control rejection, scrap and rework and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, 5S, safety and quality standards.
• Develop and manage production manpower, shift allocation and operator performance.
• Prepare and monitor MIS, production reports, rejection reports and downtime analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for OEE, productivity, quality and cost reduction.
• Support new product development, machine trials, mold trials and process validation.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company procedures.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in blow molding operations within the rigid plastic packaging industry, particularly in caps, closures, bottles and containers. Candidates with experience handling production teams, multiple machines, molds and high-volume manufacturing environments will be preferred.
