Job summary

KniTT in India seeks an IT Infrastructure Lead to define and drive the organization's infrastructure strategy across data centers, cloud platforms, networks, and security, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of enterprise systems.

You will lead infrastructure operations, governance, and modernization initiatives, manage hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), mentor teams, and partner with business leaders to align technology with objectives while delivering cost optimization

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT infrastructure management.
• 8+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record in infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Job description

The IT Infrastructure Lead is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the organization's overall IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance of enterprise systems. The role leads infrastructure operations across data centers, cloud platforms, networks, cybersecurity, end-user computing, IT service management, and disaster recovery while aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise IT infrastructure roadmap and strategy.

Infrastructure Operations

• Ensure 24x7 availability of critical infrastructure services.
• Establish SLAs, KPIs, and operational dashboards.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Lead capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Manage infrastructure budgets, technology investments, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and service delivery.
