Job summary

Clarity Benefit Solutions is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to manage cloud infrastructure, systems administration, helpdesk, and end-user technology. This hands-on leadership role guides Helpdesk Engineers and Azure/Infrastructure Administrators to ensure availability, security, and performance of the technology environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge across Azure, AWS, Windows, Linux, DevOps, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, SharePoint, monitoring, and security

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, systems administration, or IT operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration experience.
• Experience leading Helpdesk/Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and Linux administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Helpdesk and Infrastructure teams with workload planning, coaching, performance management, and escalation management.
• Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure including VMs, networking, storage, Azure SQL, App Services, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Monitor, Backup, Defender, RBAC, and NSGs.
• Support and oversee AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, networking, backup, and security.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, SSH, patching, certificates, and server maintenance.
• Own infrastructure monitoring, alerting, capacity, availability, performance, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Lead Helpdesk operations including ticket queues, SLAs, incident management, knowledge management, and L1/L2/L3 escalation processes.
• Support Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online, including sites, permissions, integrations, troubleshooting, and business portals.
• Partner with Development teams on Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, releases, deployments, and infrastructure automation.
• Participate in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, migration, integration, environment, connectivity, and operational support activities.
• Partner with Security and Compliance teams on IAM, MFA, least privilege, vulnerability remediation, logging, monitoring, and security incidents.
• Manage technology vendors, escalations, technical assessments, POCs, and infrastructure-related projects.
• Communicate technical risks, incidents, project status, and recommendations clearly to business and executive leadership.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading Helpdesk Engineers and Azure/Infrastructure Administrators while ensuring the availability, security, performance, and reliability of the technology environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge across Azure, AWS, Windows, Linux, DevOps, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, SharePoint, monitoring, and security with excellent people leadership and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 migration or implementation is highly desirable.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, enterprise monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, access control, patching, vulnerability management, and logging.
• Excellent incident management, root-cause analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, migration, integration, or administration experience.
• Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect certification.
• AWS certification.
• Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certification.
• ITIL certification or ITIL-based service management experience.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• SQL Server/Azure SQL experience.
• Backup and disaster recovery experience.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, HIPAA, NYDFS, or similar compliance requirements.
• Experience managing distributed onshore/offshore teams.
