Job summary

Talpro is seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer (On-Prem) to manage critical enterprise hardware, storage, and virtualization under DCDR. The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, security compliance, and automation across servers, networks, and storage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and migrate on‑prem server, storage, and virtualization systems for DCDR scenarios
• Manage virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper‑V, or ProxMox
• Implement and maintain monitoring via ManageEngine OPM and logging via Splunk
• Design and enforce security best practices: IAM, RBAC, VPN, SSL, firewalls
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations: ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR
• Configure and maintain enterprise network services and load balancers (Nginx, HAProxy, ALB)
• Administer and troubleshoot database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and storage systems (SAN, NAS)
• Automate tasks and infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and scripting languages
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and Security teams to ensure seamless operations
• Provide root cause analysis and swift resolution for infrastructure incidents
• Document all configurations, SOPs, and recovery procedures
