Job summary

TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd. is seeking a technically strong Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with primary expertise in AWS and working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.

You will manage multi-cloud and on-prem data centre operations, including Nutanix HCI, Veeam backups, NAS storage, and multi-tier app deployments. You will lead and mentor a small team, ensure high availability, security, and cost optimization, and coordinate with internal stakeholders across Dev and Ops.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, ECS, Kubernetes, Lambda, CloudFront, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and related services.
• Provide limited but effective support for Azure workloads (VMs, VNets, Storage, basic IAM/Entra ID integration).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
• Manage and support on-prem data centre infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI (VM provisioning, cluster health, upgrades, troubleshooting).
• Coordinate hardware lifecycle activities such as procurement support, installation, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Administer and manage Veeam Backup & Replication for virtual and physical workloads.
• Monitor backup jobs, perform restores, and ensure backup compliance and retention policies.
• Manage NAS storage systems (capacity planning, access control, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting).
• Support and manage multi-tier application architectures (web, app, database).
• Handle deployments, upgrades, and rollbacks across Dev/UAT/Prod environments.
• Work with application teams to align infra with needs.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and basic automation is preferred.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Implement basic security controls and compliance best practices.
• Coordinate with security teams to address findings and improve posture.
• Monitor performance and alerts with cloud-native or third-party tools.
• Participate in on-call or escalation support as required.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers (2–5).

Job Summary We are seeking a technically strong Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with primary expertise in AWS (90%), working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (10%), and experience in onpremises data centre operations.

The role requires hands‑on skills across Windows and Linux administration, multi-tier application architectures, basic security and compliance, along with Nutanix virtualization, backup solutions (Veeam), and NAS storage management.

The candidate will also lead and mentor a team, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure operations across cloud and onprem environments

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, ECS, Kubernetes, Lambda, CloudFront, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and related services.

Application Architecture & Deployment

• Support and manage multi‑tier application architectures (web, application, database layers).


• Handle application deployments, upgrades, and rollbacks across environments (Dev, UAT, Prod).


• Work closely with application teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application requirements.


• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and basic automation is preferred.

Windows & Linux Administration

• Administer and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.


• Perform OS hardening, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.


• Manage user access, file systems, services, and scheduled tasks.

Security & Compliance

• Implement basic security controls and compliance best practices (IAM policies, security groups, NACLs, OS hardening).


• Support vulnerability remediation, SOC, certificate management, and audit‑related activities.


• Work with security teams to address findings and improve cloud security posture.

Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and alerts using cloud‑native or third‑party tools.


• Ensure backup, DR readiness, and basic incident response procedures.


• Participate in on‑call or escalation support as required.

Team Leadership

• Lead and guide a team of engineers (2–5 members).


• Assign tasks, review work, and ensure timely delivery.
