Job summary

Anthesis Group in India (Hybrid) invites an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage and enhance our endpoint ecosystem, with emphasis on macOS, Jamf Pro, and Microsoft Intune within a cloud-first workplace.

You will secure, monitor, and optimize end-user devices, integrate with Azure AD/Entra ID, and support remote or global users through robust policy and patch management. A strong focus on automation, scripting, and documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on macOS administration experience.
• Deep expertise in Jamf Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with ABM, Azure AD/Entra ID, Autopilot and device enrollment workflows.
• Jamf certifications (Jamf 200/300/400).
• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification (MD-102).
• Experience supporting remote-first or global users.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DPDPA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support macOS devices across the organization.
• Administer Jamf Pro for Apple device enrollment, configuration, patching and compliance.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device management, security policies and application deployment.
• Support Windows and mobile devices via Intune as required.
• Implement endpoint security controls and OS hardening; ensure patch compliance.
• Integrate endpoint management with Azure AD / Entra ID and conditional access.
• Package, deploy and maintain applications for macOS and Windows.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and document SOPs.

Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage, support and enhance our endpoint management ecosystem, with a strong focus on Apple macOS, Jamfand Microsoft Intune. The role will ensure secure, compliant and high-performing end-user devices across a modern, cloud-first workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint & Device Management

• Manage and support macOS devices across the organization
• Administer Jamf Pro for Apple device enrollment, configuration, patching and compliance
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device management, security policies and application deployment Support Windows and mobile devices via Intune (as required) Security,

Compliance & Identity

• Implement endpoint security controls including disk encryption (FileVault/BitLocker), OS hardening nand patch compliance
• Integrate endpoint management with Azure AD / Entra ID and conditional access
• Support Zero Trust and secure access models Application & Patch Management
• Package, deploy and maintain applications for macOS and Windows
• Manage OS and third-party patching via Jamf and Intune
• Troubleshoot application and policy deployment issues

User Support & Operations

• Provide L3 support for endpoint-related incidents and problems
• Work with service desk teams to improve first-line resolution
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs and knowledge articles

Automation & Optimization

• Use scripts (Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks
• Monitor device health, compliance and usage metrics
• Drive continuous improvement in endpoint performance and user experience

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with macOS administration
• Deep expertise in Jamf Pro
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune Experience with:
• Apple Business Manager (ABM)
• Azure AD / Entra ID
• Autopilot and device enrolment workflows
• Endpoint security policies
• Jamf certifications (Jamf 200 / 300 / 400)
• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification (MD-102)
• Experience supporting remote-first or global users

Scripting Tools & Other Skills

• Bash and/or PowerShell scripting
• Experience with MDM/MAM concepts
• Familiarity with monitoring and asset management tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Methodical and organised approach to problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities effectively
• Attention to detail in documentation and ticket updates
• Willingness to learn and develop technical and process knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team
• Comfortable following defined processes while contributing improvement ideas
