Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a skilled vulnerability assessment professional based in India. The role focuses on using Tenable Security Center and Qualys to identify, analyze, and report security gaps across large environments.

The candidate will work with cloud platforms and develop remediation guidance while collaborating with IT teams. Key responsibilities include end-to-end vulnerability assessment, network and agent scanning, and adherence to security frameworks such as CIS, OWASP, and NIST.

Qualifications

• Expert in vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud vulnerability approaches (AWS, Azure, GCP, Ali Cloud).
• Experience with end-to-end vulnerability assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments across networks and systems.
• Utilize and tune Tenable and Qualys tools for scanning and reporting.
• Collaborate with security and IT teams to remediate findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIS Controls, OWASP, and NIST guidance.

Role & responsibilities

Expert knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools e.g. Tenable Security Center, Qualys.

• Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills; with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player and collaborative worker.
• Understanding of:
• One or more Cloud platforms and cloud vulnerability assessment approaches i.e. Ali Cloud, AWS, GCP, Azure
• End to end vulnerability assessment processes.
• Network and Agent vulnerability scanning in a large environment.
• Industry frameworks and best practices: CIS Critical Security Controls, Threat Modelling, OWASP, NIST 800 Series.
• Operating systems, network protocols, and application development.
• Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g Python, C+, or PowerShell).
• High level of integrity and strong ethical values.
• Resilient and self driven, capable of informing and driving change and delivering high-quality outcomes, whilst often under pressure/ at pace.
