Job summary

Purview Services in India is seeking a security professional to perform vulnerability assessments using Tenable Security Center and Qualys, and to translate findings into actionable guidance.

The role requires cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), end-to-end assessment processes, network and agent scanning at scale, and familiarity with CIS, OWASP, and NIST frameworks; scripting in Python or PowerShell is a plus.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools such as Tenable Security Center and Qualys.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud vulnerability assessment approaches (Ali Cloud, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in end-to-end vulnerability assessment processes.
• Experience with network and agent vulnerability scanning in large environments.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and best practices (CIS Controls, Threat Modelling, OWASP, NIST 800 series).
• Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and application development.
• Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, PowerShell).
• High integrity, resilient, self-driven and able to drive change under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments using Tenable and Qualys.
• Collaborate with teams to communicate findings and remediation steps.
• Apply cloud vulnerability assessment approaches across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Perform network and agent vulnerability scanning at scale in large environments.
• Align with CIS, OWASP, NIST frameworks and industry best practices.
• Develop and refine scripts for automation (Python/PowerShell).
