Job summary

JMAN Group, a growing technology-enabled management consultancy, seeks an accomplished IT leader to manage global IT services and security. You will drive end-to-end delivery, governance, and automation for a multinational operation with a Chennai engineering team and expansion to New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Hands-on firewall and network security experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online.
• Experience with Entra ID and conditional access.
• MDM for Windows and Mac (Intune/JAMF).
• Patch management at scale (Ninja One / Intune / JAMF).
• Microsoft Defender suite expertise.
• Knowledge of Purview, DLP, labels, and data classification.
• PowerShell, Graph API for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT service delivery and operations globally, including infrastructure, networks, hardware lifecycle management, service support, escalations, service catalogues, and SLA governance.
• Manage and develop global IT teams, driving consistent service standards, clear ownership, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with business leadership to define and execute technology strategy, ensuring IT initiatives, digital workplace transformation, AI adoption, and emerging technology investments align with organisational objectives and long-term business growth.
• Own the IT value narrative, measuring and communicating the business impact of technology through productivity improvements, cost optimisation, risk reduction, operational efficiency, and user enablement metrics.
• Manage technology vendors and strategic partnerships, including ISPs, hardware suppliers, software providers, and managed service partners, while supporting budget planning, forecasting, procurement, and investment decisions.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including conditional access, identity governance, access controls, and identity security improvements.
• Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune for Windows and JAMF Pro for Mac, aligned to global MDM and security policies.
• Support and maintain Ninja One RMM across the Windows and Mac fleet.
• Administer Microsoft 365 licensing, mailbox and Exchange Online administration, SharePoint, Teams, and related collaboration services.
• Manage and optimize Azure-based resources supporting global business operations.
• Lead and support global security initiatives, including SOC2 compliance, vulnerability remediation, risk management, and security governance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Management, Operations & Strategy

Security & Patch Management:

• Manage and maintain global firewall infrastructure and network security capabilities.
• Administer and respond to alerts from Microsoft Defender across endpoint, email, and cloud app security areas.
• Own patch management processes for Windows and Mac endpoints via Ninja One, Intune, and JAMF, ensuring compliance with organizational build and security standards.
• Lead and support global security initiatives, including SOC2 compliance, vulnerability remediation, risk management, and security governance activities.

Compliance & Reporting

• Maintain accurate asset, license, and compliance records for the local office.
• Conduct regular audits of global security posture, IT operations, service delivery, and compliance metrics, providing reporting and recommendations to leadership.
• Support governance activities by maintaining clear documentation, audit evidence, remediation tracking, and operational reporting. Business Continuity & Incident Response
• Own BCP/DR plans, tabletop exercises, and RPO/RTO definitions.
• Lead major incident response — declaration, war-room coordination, RCA, post-incident review.

Skills & Qualifications

• Any bachelor’s degree or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with:
• Firewall administration and network security
• Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online administration
• Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Governance)
• Microsoft Intune (Windows MDM) and JAMF Pro (Mac MDM)
• Patch management at scale (Ninja One / Intune / JAMF)
• Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps)
• Microsoft Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, and data classification • Microsoft 365 Copilot administration, governance, and adoption
• PowerShell, Power Automate, Graph API — for automation at scale

Certifications (preferable)

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), or Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
• ITIL Foundation

Soft Skills

• Proven ability to manage and develop a technical team
• Ability communicates effectively, and manage expectations with different leadership, business teams, vendors, end users, etc.
• Clear written and verbal communication for cross-time-zone collaboration with London/New York. Executive presence — able to present technology strategy, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
