Taparia Tools is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to analyse and enhance existing manufacturing processes, workflows, and systems. The role focuses on eliminating bottlenecks, reducing waste, and improving productivity through SOPs and lean practices.

You will design ergonomically-friendly workspaces, conduct time and motion studies, and collaborate with QA to enhance quality and reduce rework. Inventory optimization and technology integration will be key parts of the job.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and waste reduction.
• Ability to conduct time and motion studies to improve efficiency.
• Collaboration with QA to implement quality controls and reduce defects.
• Managing inventory to minimize stockouts and costs.

Aufgaben

• Process Improvement: Analyse and Improve Existing manufacturing processes, work flows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce waste, cost reduction, increase productivity and yield; review, modify, and implement SOPs and lean manufacturing processes.
• Workplace Design: Design and optimize workspaces to improve ergonomics, safety, and efficiency.
• Time and Motion Studies: Conduct time and motion studies to analyse work methods, standardize processes, and establish efficient work standards.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to develop and implement quality control measures; identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to reduce rework/rejection.
• Inventory Management: Work with inventory management teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce stock outs, and minimize carrying costs.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate new technologies and automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes and plant utilization.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyse data on KPIs such as Inventory Turnover Ratio, Throughput, cycle time, and resource utilization.

3. Workplace Design: Design and optimize workspaces to improve ergonomics, safety, and efficiency. Ensure that layouts and equipment placement are conducive to smooth work flow and minimize unnecessary movement.
4. Time and Motion Studies: Conduct time and motion studies to analyse work methods, standardize processes, and establish efficient work standards. Use data analysis to identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and productivity improvement.
5. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to develop and implement quality control measures. Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce rework / Rejection.
6. Inventory Management: Work with inventory management teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce stock outs, and minimize carrying costs. Implement inventory control measures to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production.
7. Technology Integration: Evaluate new technologies and automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes and Plant Utilization. Implement new tools and equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce labour costs.
8. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyse data on key performance indicators such as Inventory Turnover Ratio ,Throughput, cycle time, and resource utilization.
