Job summary

Ace Recruitment Placement Consultants is seeking an experienced production/plant engineer to manage and continuously revise production processes. The role focuses on ergonomics, efficiency, and waste reduction while coordinating new facilities, equipment commissioning, and industrialization of new products.

You will develop standards, conduct time/motion studies, and support plant layout improvements. Collaboration with R&D and Quality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Management of design and continuously revision of production processes to optimize ergonomics, maximize efficiency
• Improve flexibility and capacity and in general reduce waste
• Management of new facilities: activities in the installation, ensuring timetable, costs, safety and efficiency of the incoming equipment
• Ensure the creation of production standards, methods and operating procedures
• Time studies and Motion studies within the plant, bottleneck management throughout the production process and line balancing / re-balancing (when needed)
• Development of specifications for new machines and production lines and design review (considering the specifications defined) with external suppliers
• Commissioning and acceptance of new production equipment
• Management of new products industrialization and Engineering Change Requests from R&D and Quality departments.
• Preparation of routings and sub phases identification
• Support to plant layout design (or re-design) to improve and streamline flows
• Identification of cycle time, phases description, task element clocking
• Activities related to analysis of feeding components and design/selection/procurement and training on tools need for material presentation and production
• Lead WCM Early Equipment Management as Pillar Leade
