Job summary

Siemens Energy in India is seeking a candidate with strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge for a site in Ch.Sambhajinagar. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with MOST certification, RFQ preparation, and vendor discussions, along with layout work in AutoCAD and ergonomics assessments.

The ideal professional will drive productivity improvements, understand Industry 4.0 concepts, and possess awareness of EHS requirements, work permits, SOPs and HIRA.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with MOST; certification preferred.
• Experience in RFQ preparation and technical vendor discussions; awareness of installation & commissioning.
• Layout preparation, modification & updates in AutoCAD.
• Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of workstation arrangement & ergonomic studies.
• Proven productivity improvement projects implemented.
• Awareness of Industry 4.0 with latest automation tools & techniques.
• Basic knowledge of EHS regarding work permits, SOP & HIRA.
• Knowledge about tools & fixtures.

Job Description: -

• 1. Candidate must posses Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• 2. Must have in depth knowledge about various tools & Techniques used in Lean Manufacturing systems.
• 3. Must have hands on experience in MOST & Basic MOST certification is preferred.
• 4. Must have knowledge in preparation of RFQ, Technical discussion with vendor & awareness about Installation & Commissioning of assets.
• 5. Must have hands on experience in Layout preparation, Modification & periodic updation in software such as AutoCAD.
• 6. Preference will be given if availed any certification in Lean Manufacturing.
• 7. Must have knowledge about Workstation arrangement & Ergonomic study.
• 8. Must have implemented Productivity improvement projects.
• 9. Must posses awareness about Industry Manufacturing 4.0 with latest automation tools & Techniques.
• 10. Must have basic knowledge of EHS regards to work permit, SOP & HIRA.
• 11. Must have adequate knowledge about Tools & Fixtures.
