Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop conveyor systems, rejection mechanisms, and automated material handling solutions for industrial applications.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams, automation engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of designed systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, mechanical stress analysis, and material selection for various industrial applications.
- Develop 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and BOMs using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety and quality standards (ISO, ANSI, OSHA, etc.) in all designs.
- Optimize existing conveyor and rejection systems to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source appropriate components and materials.
- Provide technical documentation, installation guidelines, and troubleshooting support for designed systems.
- Participate in on-site installations, testing, and commissioning of conveyor and rejection systems.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in designing conveyor systems, rejection mechanisms, or industrial automation equipment.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, material handling systems, and automation.
- Understanding of mechanical components, pneumatic actuators, servo motors, and rejection systems.
- Familiarity with standards like ISO, ANSI, OSHA, and GMP for industrial equipment design.
- Ability to perform DFMEA, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and stress analysis.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a focus on practical, manufacturable designs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food processing, pharmaceutical, automotive, or FMCG industries.
- Knowledge of PLC integration and industrial automation systems.
- Exposure to simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) for stress and motion analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with prototype development and testing.
