Miko, an IIT Bombay alumni-founded consumer robotics lab, invites an Industrial Design Intern to join its Mumbai team on-site for a 6-month stint. You will help shape aesthetics, usability, and manufacturability of cutting-edge robotics products aimed at home learning.

You’ll work with engineers and product managers, create sketches and 3D models, and contribute to prototypes, user studies, and design documentation while gaining mentorship in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
• Strong sketching, visualization and ideation skills.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling/rendering tools: SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and ergonomics.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design team in developing and refining product concepts, sketches, and 3D models.
• Assist in creating mockups, prototypes, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct user research and analyze market trends to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
• Help maintain documentation of design iterations, revisions, and feedback.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for product innovation.

Key Responsibilities
