Frigosystem India is seeking an Industrial Chiller Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial chiller systems at customer sites across India. The role demands strong refrigeration expertise, hands-on problem solving, and a commitment to reliable service.

You will perform start-ups, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and provide clear technical guidance while ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical/refrigeration engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience servicing industrial chillers/HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, gauges, and equipment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

The Industrial Chiller Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial chiller systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in refrigeration and cooling systems, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver reliable service to industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of industrial chillers and cooling systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Carry out routine inspections, performance testing, and calibration of equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with the sales and project teams to support customer requirements and upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in servicing industrial chillers, HVAC, or refrigeration systems. Having experience with water-cooled, air-cooled, and adiabatic cooling systems.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Hands-on experience with tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with PLCs, automation, and energy efficiency practices is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours when required.
