Job summary

Evio Private Limited is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems in Mumbai. The role requires hands-on expertise with TIA Portal, PCS 7, WinCC platforms and industrial communication protocols.

You will lead development for PLC, SCADA and HMI projects, configure field devices, and drive FAT/SAT testing, documentation, and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of Siemens-based industrial automation experience.
• Experience across sectors like pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or utilities.
• Siemens certification (TIA Portal / PCS 7 / WinCC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program automation systems using Siemens PLCs.
• Develop SCADA and HMI applications using WinCC Classic/Professional/Unified.
• Configure field devices and systems using Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve communication and device integration issues across control networks.
• Implement and optimize PID control loops, batch processing logic, and instrument calibration.
• Collaborate with process and instrumentation teams to align control strategies with plant operations.
• Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including control philosophy, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and validation reports.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage on-site commissioning, and provide post-installation support.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with TIA Portal, PCS 7, WinCC platforms, and industrial communication protocols, along with a solid understanding of process control and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

PLC, SCADA & HMI Development:

• Design, develop, and program automation systems using Siemens PLCs (S7‑300/400, S7‑1200/1500, PCS 7) with knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), FBD, and CFC.
• Develop SCADA and HMI applications using WinCC Classic, WinCC Professional, WinCC Unified, and Basic/Comfort HMI panels.
• Configure and integrate field devices and systems using Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve communication and device integration issues across control networks.

Process Automation & Control:

• Implement and optimize PID control loops, batch processing logic, and instrument calibration.
• Collaborate with process and instrumentation teams to ensure control strategies align with plant operations.

Project Execution & Documentation:

• Lead and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
