Job summary

CFOLogic Private Limited in India is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our finance operations team. The role focuses on accurate daily entries, classifications, and reconciliations using Zoho Books or Tally.

You will support month-end closures, MIS reporting, and GST/TDS compliance, including GST returns and TDS entries in Winman, coordinating with the Checker and Manager to ensure timely, review-ready work. Strong communication and deadline discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS compliance processes.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally.
• Familiarity with Winman for TDS workings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Post daily accounting entries in Zoho Books / Tally.
• Classify income, expenses, assets, and liabilities accurately.
• Keep books reconciled on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare month closure workings and reconciliations, including bank, AR, and AP.
• Submit review-ready work to the Checker and Manager.
• Prepare MIS schedules and variance explanations.
• GST: GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B and ITC computations.
• TDS: TDS working in Winman, validate thresholds and rates, and submit.
• Process payments with proper documentation and tagging.
• Coordinate with client and internal teams to meet timelines.

Job description

• Post daily accounting entries in Zoho Books / Tally
• Accurately classify income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
• Keep books reconciled on an ongoing basis

2. Month-End Closure & Review Preparation

• Prepare month closure workings and checklist
• Complete bank, AR, and AP reconciliations
• Prepare accruals, provisions, and depreciation workings
• Submit review-ready work to the Checker

3. MIS Preparation

• Prepare MIS schedules and supporting workings
• Prepare variance explanations

4. Statutory Compliance – Preparation

• GST: prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings, ITC and output tax computation, and GST checklist submission
• TDS: prepare section-wise TDS working in Winman, validate thresholds and rates, and submit TDS checklist

5. Bank Payments

• Process payment requests, adhering to pre-defined payment cycles
• Maintain documentation and accounting tagging for payments

6. Client & Internal Communication

• Handle day-to-day operational communication
• Follow up and escape in a timely manner
• Coordinate with the Checker and Manager

7. Timeline & Task Management

• Track and meet client-specific timelines
• Maintain and update task tracking in Atom

Who We're Looking For

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance operations role
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance processes
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally
• Familiarity with Winman for TDS workings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliations and statutory workings
• Ability to manage client-specific timelines and task tracking
• Good communication skills for day-to-day client and internal coordination
