Role Objective

Own end-to-end inbound supply chain planning and inventory replenishment for Cookd, ensuring best-in-class product availability, inventory health, and service levels across all business channels.

This role will be responsible for forecasting, procurement planning, supplier management, inventory optimization, and inbound logistics coordination to support Cookd's rapid growth across Quick Commerce, D2C, Retail, Marketplace, and Export channels. The role is based at our Chennai Head Office and will involve periodic visits to manufacturing units, supplier locations, and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasting for Cookd products across all business verticals.
• Analyze historical sales trends, seasonality, promotions, market dynamics, and business inputs to build accurate forecasts.
• Generate and manage Purchase Orders based on forecasted demand and inventory requirements. Ensure timely replenishment of inventory across Cookd warehouses.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers, procurement vendors, and internal production teams.
• Ensure timely production, dispatch, and movement of finished goods to warehouses.
• Prevent stock-outs, excess inventory, and inventory ageing through effective planning and execution.
• Manage supplier relationships, vendor performance, and vendor payments.
• Conduct weekly and monthly reviews covering forecast accuracy, procurement performance, supplier performance, inventory health, and service levels.
• Ensure suppliers adhere to SOPs related to production quality, dispatch processes, documentation, and delivery timelines.

Ideal Candidate

• 4–8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Planning, or related functions.
• Strong exposure to Demand Forecasting & Planning, Inventory Replenishment, Procurement Planning, Vendor Management, Warehouse Operations, and Logistics Coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including suppliers, production teams, warehouses, transporters, and internal business teams.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong bias for execution and ownership.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
