Job summary

Bosch Group in India is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Front line Manager to lead inline production, ensure compliance with product liability principles, and maintain shop floor discipline. You will manage headcount, ensure timely delivery, material availability, and report on performance to cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in related roles, strong communication in English (Kannada preferred), and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of product and component function / construction / drawings / BOM / PDS
• Competent knowledge in production management, manufacturing processes & measurement techniques
• Advanced knowledge of operations management, standing orders, Bosch Code of business conduct and related statutes
• Advanced knowledge in work safety, environment & health practices and regulations
• Advanced knowledge in product liability, quality management, lean management , BPS elements & product costing

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing of Product In-line with Principle of Product liability
• Associate management - Head count planning and Ensuring shop floor discipline.
• Production management - Delivery as per plan,Material availability and reporting ,work allocation and Tool & consumable management
• Deviation reporting and Management
• Cooperation with cross functional departments
• Estimation of the employee requirements
• Trouble shooting in operations management
• Cooperation for Audits (internal, external)
• Improve the cost efficiency & identify areas for cost optimization
• Data logging for management information
• Ensure general conduct inline with safety and other BOSCH guidelines and procedures

Manufacturing Front line manager for Plunger in Element Value stream

• Ensure manufacturing of Product In-line with Principle of Product liability

with 2-5 year experience and min 2 years of experience in Shop floor Management or related role

• Good Communication: Presentation & Command over English (Kannada Preferred)
• Willingness to travel as per business requirement
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industry (Preferred)
