Job summary

PwC in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Performance Testing professional to evaluate software performance, identify defects, and ensure systems meet requirements across SDLC. You will work with cross-functional teams implementing robust test strategies and automation using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, and Dynatrace.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in performance engineering, strong scripting skills, cloud/container experience, and a collaborative mindset to drive improvements in a dynamic consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency with at least one major performance testing tool (e.g., Apache JMeter, Micro Focus LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, Locust, NeoLoad).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting) for test automation and data manipulation.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, network protocols (HTTP/S), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics).
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex performance data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
