Role Overview

IMS Recon Specialist I – Clinical Operations – Office based in Hyderabad. The role focuses on managing project closure activities related to investigator payments, ensuring accurate financial processing and adherence to contractual terms.

Job Responsibilities

• Review internal site contracts versus Oracle database and MCTMS to manage investigator payments.
• Process investigator payments using IMPACT and Medidata platforms with a strong focus on data accuracy.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, project management, A/P, A/R, and contracts teams to maintain a holistic view of project finances.
• Review and interpret Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) to ensure payments follow contractual terms.
• Perform Excel‑based grant tracking, cost entries, and invoice reviews.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry exposure.
• Experience with invoice processing and data reconciliation.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUM, IF, data validation, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and data cleaning techniques.

Preferred Background

• Finance or accounting‑related roles.
• Experience in payment processing or financial operations.
• Clinical research or analysis experience with a focus on the financial side of the business.
