Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an IMS Forecast Specialist II to develop, maintain, and analyze forecasts that guide operational and financial decisions in Hyderabad, India. You will work closely with Clinical Operations, Finance, and Project Management to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in forecasting or analytics, advanced Excel, and experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in forecasting, business analytics, resource planning, clinical operations, project management, or related areas.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP.
• Experience with forecasting models and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.

• Develop and maintain project/study forecasts using operational and financial data.

• Monitor enrollment, milestones, site activations, and project timelines to improve forecast accuracy.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Forecast Specialist to develop, maintain, and analyze project and study forecasts that support operational and financial decision-making. The role requires close collaboration with Clinical Operations, Finance, Project Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy, identify risks, and provide actionable business insights.

• Familiarity with CTMS, EDC, Oracle, Power BI, or similar forecasting platforms.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
