We are seeking a detail-oriented Forecast Specialist to develop, maintain, and analyze project and study forecasts that support operational and financial decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

IMS Forecast Specialist II Location: Hyderabad, India Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Forecast Specialist to develop, maintain, and analyze project and study forecasts that support operational and financial decision-making. The role requires close collaboration with Clinical Operations, Finance, Project Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy, identify risks, and provide actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project/study forecasts using operational and financial data. Analyze forecast assumptions, trends, and variances against actual performance. Monitor enrollment, milestones, site activations, and project timelines to improve forecast accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather forecast inputs and validate assumptions. Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, governance reviews, and management reporting. Identify forecast risks, data quality issues, and potential financial impacts. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries to support business decisions. Drive process improvements and forecasting automation initiatives. Required Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in forecasting, business analytics, resource planning, clinical operations, project management, or related areas. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP. Experience with forecasting models and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple functions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Clinical Research, CRO, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical industries. Knowledge of enrollment forecasting, investigator grants forecasting, project financial management, and resource planning. Familiarity with CTMS, EDC, Oracle, Power BI, or similar forecasting platforms. Education Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
