Job summary

FU Pao India in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage import shipments end-to-end, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA/customs agents, and transporters. You will ensure timely clearance and delivery while maintaining compliant records.

Ideal candidate knows import/transport operations, Excel proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to juggle multiple shipments and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of import and transportation operations.
• Excellent coordination, follow-up and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and vehicles concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Manage import shipments from supplier to final delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA/customs agents, and transporters.
• Check import documents and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Track shipment ETA, clearance, and delivery status.
• Arrange vehicles and coordinate loading/unloading and transportation.
• Follow up with drivers and transporters for timely delivery.
• Collect and maintain PODs and transport documents.
• Verify freight and transporter bills.
• Handle delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics issues.
• Prepare import/transport MIS and maintain proper records.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
