Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead the deployment of Connected Worker solutions across client sites in industrial environments. You will manage the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery, ensuring value, quality, and client satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years of project management experience in software deployments, familiarity with Connected Worker/IoT, and a solid grasp of Agile and Waterfall methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management for software deployments in industrial settings.

• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Connected Worker solutions for clients, including planning, scoping, resource allocation, risk management, and QA.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets, track milestones and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, sales and support to ensure delivery.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops and training to facilitate adoption of solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans to ensure success.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and client satisfaction.
• Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies.

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead the successful deployment of Connected Worker solutions. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and client satisfaction for digital transformation initiatives within industrial environments.

Job Responsibilities**

• Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Connected Worker solutions for clients, including project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress against milestones and escalating issues as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, sales, and support to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and training sessions to facilitate understanding and adoption of Connected Worker solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges, developing contingency plans to ensure project success.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Provide regular project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in implementing software solutions, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with Connected Worker, IoT, Industry 4.0, or similar digital transformation technologies.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage client expectations and team dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.
