Job summary

Capgemini Pune is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer focused on API testing. You will design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using REST Assured and Java, and create test cases for RESTful services.

You will integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, report defects in Jira, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the API stack. 3–8 years of experience and a CS/IT/engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in API Testing with hands-on REST Assured and Java.
• Proficiency with HTTP/HTTPS, JSON/XML, and REST APIs.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of API tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities
