Job summary

The Base Studio is seeking a detail-oriented Photo Editing & Retouching Intern to join our in-house post-production team in Noida. You will work with photographers and creatives, turning raw studio captures into polished assets for fashion, jewelry, food, and lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities include batch culling, RAW processing, retouching, cutouts, color matching, and asset export for web and social media.

Qualifications

• Solid foundational knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (layers, masks, clone stamp, pen tool) and Adobe Lightroom.
• Keen eye for detail—noticing stray hairs, sensor spots, wrinkles, or uneven lighting.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted post-production tools (Photoshop Firefly/Generative Fill) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Studio Post-Production: Assist with batch culling, RAW image processing, lens corrections, and exposure matching in Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop.
• Basic to Intermediate Retouching: Cleanups, dust/scratch removal for tabletop product shots, background extensions, and skin blemish removal while keeping textures natural.
• Cutouts & Masking: Pen-tool cutouts, transparent backgrounds, and composite asset creation for ecommerce and marketing creatives.
• Color Accuracy: Match product and fabric colors to real-world references for client lookbooks and catalog shoots.
• File Management & Exporting: Maintain shoot folder hierarchies, backup raw/final files, and export assets sized for web, marketplaces, and social media.

About the Role:

The Base Studio is seeking an ambitious, detail-obsessed Photo Editing & Retouching Intern to join our in-house post-production team. You will work directly with our photographers, stylists, and creative team, turning raw studio captures into polished, commercial assets for fashion, jewelry, food, and lifestyle brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Studio Post-Production: Assist with batch culling, RAW image processing, lens corrections, and exposure matching in Adobe Lightroom / Photoshop.
• Basic to Intermediate Retouching: Perform cleanups, dust/scratch removal for tabletop product shots, background extensions, and skin blemish removal while keeping textures natural.
• Cutouts & Masking: Execute precise pen-tool cutouts, transparent background prep, and composite asset creation for e-commerce and marketing creatives.
• Color Accuracy: Match product and fabric colors to real-world physical references for client lookbooks and catalog shoots.
• File Management & Exporting: Maintain structured shoot folder hierarchies, backup raw/final files, and export assets sized correctly for web, marketplaces, and social media.

What We Are Looking For:
