Role Description The IELTS/PTE Faculty role at JUST ABROAD is a full-time, on-site teaching position based in Ahmedabad. The faculty member will conduct structured classroom sessions for IELTS and PTE, including teaching all modules, explaining exam formats, and guiding students through practice tests and mock exams. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, updating teaching content with current topics and exam trends, and using audio-visual aids to improve learner engagement. The role also involves monitoring student progress, providing individualized feedback, supporting test-taking strategies, and collaborating with counsellors and other team members to ensure each learner receives comprehensive support.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong English language teaching skills, including command of grammar, vocabulary, and academic writing suitable for IELTS and PTE preparation.
• Candidates should possess exam-focused skills in lesson planning, test strategy coaching, and conducting practice tests and mock exams for language proficiency assessments.
• Candidates should possess classroom management and instructional skills, including the use of audio-visual aids, interactive teaching methods, and personalized student support.
• Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to motivate and guide diverse learners.
• Candidates should possess skills in student assessment and feedback, including tracking performance, identifying learning gaps, and creating tailored improvement plans.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL or similar certification is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching IELTS, PTE, or other English language exams, ideally 2+ years in a coaching center or academic setting, is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, familiarity with current IELTS/PTE patterns, and a learner-centric, inclusive approach to teaching.
