Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and validate SCADA solutions for industrial automation systems.
• Configure Ignition Tags, UDTs, Alarms, Historian and data models.
• Develop Python/Jython scripts and PostgreSQL-based solutions.
• Integrate SCADA with PLCs, field devices and backend applications.
• Collaborate with Java/.NET teams on custom Ignition modules and gRPC-based integrations.
• Perform end-to-end system integration and testing.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA – Perspective, Gateway, Tags, UDTs & Templates
• Ignition installation, configuration, architecture, licensing & administration
• Python/Jython scripting within Ignition
• PostgreSQL – Historian, reporting & transactions
• PLC communication protocols: OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP
• Basic Java knowledge for custom Ignition module support
• Good to have: OT/IT Integration, APIs & gRPC
