The role emphasizes hands-on Ignition installation, configuration, and architecture with PLC communications across OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP.

The ideal candidate holds a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Instrumentation & Controls or Industrial Automation and will develop SCADA data models, tags, alarms, and

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech - Instrumentation & Controls / Industrial Automation
• Ignition installation, configuration, architecture, licensing & administration
• Python / Jython scripting within Ignition
• PLC communication & industrial protocols - OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate the SCADA layer of a web-based industrial automation platform
• Configure Ignition tags, UDTs, alarms, historian and SCADA data models
• Develop Python/Jython scripts and PostgreSQL transactions/reporting
• Integrate PLCs, field devices and software applications
• Work with Java/.NET teams on custom Ignition modules and backend services
• Perform end-to-end integration testing, commissioning, and system validation

We're looking for an Ignition SCADA Integration R&D Engineer to join our team and work on next-generation industrial automation and software integration solutions.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech - Instrumentation & Controls / Industrial Automation

Ignition installation, configuration, architecture, licensing & administration

Python / Jython scripting within Ignition

PLC communication & industrial protocols - OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP

Good to Have:

• PostgreSQL - historian, reporting & transactions
• Java fundamentals / custom Ignition modules
• gRPC-based software integration
• XML and backend integration
• Develop and validate the SCADA layer of a web-based industrial automation platform
