Job summary

Teacher Pool is sourcing an experienced IGCSE Business Studies Teacher for a reputed school in Jaipur. The role focuses on delivering Cambridge-aligned lessons for Grades 9–10 and developing students’ commercial awareness and analytical thinking.

The teacher will cover business activity, HR, marketing, operations, finance and external influences, while preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations and fostering practical understanding through case studies and real-world examples.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Commerce, Business Studies, Economics or related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies 0450.
• Ability to teach through case studies, practicals and inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent classroom management and differentiated lesson planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IGCSE Business Studies lessons aligned with Cambridge standards for Grades 9-10.

• Maintain attendance, assessments, grades and feedback per school policies.

• Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations, focusing on case-study analysis, structured responses, application of business concepts, and examination techniques.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Business Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies (0450) curriculum.
• Ability to teach business concepts through case studies, practical examples, and inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent classroom management and differentiated lesson-planning skills.
• Proficiency in Cambridge IGCSE assessment objectives, examination patterns, and marking criteria.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Classroom.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to develop students analytical, evaluative, and business decision-making skills.

Preferred

• Previous teaching experience in a Cambridge IGCSE or international curriculum school.
• Familiarity with Cambridge assessment standards and past-paper preparation strategies.
• Ability to teach AS & A Level Business (9609) or Economics.
• Experience integrating EdTech platforms such as Kahoot, Quizizz, and other digital learning resources.
• Ability to facilitate entrepreneurship projects, business simulations, and student-led business activities.
