Job summary

Aliaxis in India is seeking an IAM lead to define and execute a global IAM strategy, governance, and end-to-end identity lifecycle, including joiner-mover-leaver, access governance, PAM, authentication and compliance.

You will build a scalable operating model and lead an international IAM team, partnering closely with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, HR, and Application teams to embed IAM as a foundational capability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IAM experience with lead or architect roles.
• Experience defining global IAM strategies and governance models.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft identity platforms (Entra ID / Azure AD / Active Directory).
• Experience with IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) and PAM solutions.
• Experience integrating IAM with HR systems (Workday), ITSM (ServiceNow), cloud platforms, and enterprise apps.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust, least privilege, and modern authentication models.
• Experience leading and scaling international teams.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Job Purpose:

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) lead is accountable for defining, implementing, and continuously improving a global IAM strategy and governance model across the organization. This role owns the end-to-end identity lifecycle, including joiner–mover–leaver processes, access governance, privileged access, authentication, authorization, and compliance. The position acts as the global authority for IAM, ensuring security, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and consistent user experience across all regions and business units. A key mandate of this role is to build and lead a global IAM team, establish scalable operating models, and partner closely with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, HR, and Application teams to embed IAM as a foundational capability of the enterprise IT landscape.

Required Experience and Knowledge:

8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with several years in lead or architect role. Proven experience defining and implementing global IAM strategies and governance models. Strong expertise in Microsoft identity platforms (e.g. Entra ID / Azure AD / Active Directory) and hybrid identity environments. Experience with IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) and PAM solutions. Solid understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and audit requirements. Experience integrating IAM with HR systems (Workday), ITSM (ServiceNow), cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Strong conceptual understanding of Zero Trust, least privilege, and modern authentication models. Experience leading and scaling teams in an international environment. Ability to work in a highly demanding, challenging, and fast-moving international work environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a global team. Very good language skills in English

Technical & Functional competencies:
