Job summary

Apollo Knowledge Ventures Limited in Hyderabad invites experienced ICU nurses to join our critical care team. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and collaborate with doctors and specialists. The role requires GNM or B.Sc.

Nursing with valid registration, ICU experience, and strong clinical assessment. Knowledge of ventilator management and cardiac monitoring is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have GNM or B.Sc. Nursing with valid registration.
• ICU/critical care experience is essential.
• Knowledge of ventilator management and cardiac monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other prescribed treatments accurately.
• Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and suction machines.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, central line insertion, and other critical interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, medication charts, and clinical documentation.
• Identify changes in patients' conditions and immediately report concerns to the concerned doctor/senior.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain proper hygiene and patient safety standards.
• Provide basic emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in emergency situations, including Code Blue and CPR.
• Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.
• Maintain ICU equipment, supplies, and medication inventory.
