Job summary

A clinically competent Anaesthetist is sought by Apollo Knowledge Ventures Limited for ICU and OT oversight. MD (Anaesthesia) or DNB after MBBS with TNMC registration and 1–3 years' experience in critical care settings is preferred.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate with consultants and nursing staff. Responsibilities include airway management, anesthesia support, and post-operative care across ICU and OT, with diligent documentation and interdepartmental

• MD (Anaesthesia) or DNB after MBBS.
• TNMC Registration.
• Experience: 1–3 years.
• Experience in ICU & OT.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU under the supervision of senior consultants.
• Perform patient assessment, diagnosis, stabilization and ongoing clinical management.
• Manage airway, ventilation and hemodynamic support as required.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement and other critical-care procedures.
• Monitor patients on ventilators and manage post-operative and critically ill patients.
• Respond to ICU emergencies and participate in resuscitation and code-blue situations.
• Provide anaesthesia support and assist with peri-operative patient management in the OT.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing teams and other departments for comprehensive patient care.
