Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise ICU nursing operations and critical care workflow.
• Allocate ICU nursing duties and monitor shift-wise patient care quality.
• Monitor ventilated patients, critical parameters, oxygen therapy, and infusion pumps.
• Ensure accurate documentation of ICU flow sheets, medication charts, and handovers.
• Coordinate with intensivists, doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and support teams.
• Ensure readiness of monitors, ventilators, suction, crash cart, emergency drugs, and equipment.
• Identify patient deterioration and support immediate escalation or emergency response.
• Guide ICU nurses in critical care protocols, aseptic precautions, and documentation.
• Maintain infection control, hand hygiene, isolation, and biomedical waste compliance.
• Conduct ICU rounds and check patient safety standards.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge coordination from ICU.
• Train junior staff on ICU care and emergency procedures.
• Maintain ICU reports, duty rosters, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with patients attendants as per protocol.
• Ensure safe, organized, and responsive ICU nursing services.
