Job summary

Aivi is seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Software Engineer to design and implement Sterling OMS-based solutions for our eCommerce platform. You will customize extensions, build services with Spring Boot, and integrate with Sterling APIs and processes to support order management, inventory, and fulfillment.

The role requires hands-on development across OMS modules, REST and messaging tech, and deep DB2/SQL experience. Hybrid onsite work in Bengaluru is expected.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of IBM Sterling OMS development experience.
• Spring Boot, Kafka, and Sterling APIs/Extensions.
• XML, JSON, XPath, XSLT; IBM DB2 with SQL.
• REST integrations; OMS configuration and customization.
• Strong understanding of Order Management, Inventory, Sourcing & Fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize solutions using IBM Sterling OMS.
• Develop Java / Java EE, Spring Boot services and Sterling OMS extensions.
• Work with Sterling APIs, Services, Agents, User Exits, Pipelines, and Process Types.
• Develop OMS solutions for Order Management, Inventory, Sourcing, Scheduling, Allocation, Reservation, Shipment, Returns, Fulfillment.
• Develop integrations using REST, Kafka, XML, JSON, XPath, and XSLT.
• Work with IBM DB2 and SQL for OMS data needs.
• Analyze requirements, prepare designs, implement solutions and support deployments.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop scalable eCommerce and omnichannel fulfillment solutions.
