Willware Technologies in PAN India is seeking an experienced Sterling OMS Developer to design, develop, and customize IBM Sterling OMS solutions, including Store and Call Center applications, with cloud implementations. The role requires hands-on Sterling OMS development, collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams, and delivering scalable, high-performing order management solutions.

This hybrid position offers exposure to integration work with REST/SOAP APIs and modern DevOps

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling OMS Development.
• Design and develop Sterling OMS modules (Payment, Invoicing, Inventory, Order Management).
• Hands-on experience customizing Sterling Store and Call Center apps.
• Experience with NextGen Sterling OMS on Cloud.
• Proficient in REST/SOAP APIs, Java/J2EE, XML, and SQL.
• Familiar with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and implement OMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and implement solutions using IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).

• Develop and enhance key Sterling OMS modules, including:

  • Payment

  • Invoicing

  • Inventory Management

  • Order Management

• Customize Sterling Store and Call Center applications using Angular.

• Work on NextGen Sterling OMS Cloud implementations and enhancements.

• Develop custom services, APIs, user exits, agents, and pipelines within Sterling OMS.

• Configure and customize business processes, workflows, and integrations based on business requirements.

• Integrate Sterling OMS with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business users to gather and analyze requirements.

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in IBM Sterling OMS Development (development experience is mandatory; support experience alone is not sufficient).

• Strong expertise in the design and development of Sterling OMS modules such as Payment, Invoicing, Inventory, and Order Management.

• Hands‑on experience in customizing Sterling Store and Call Center applications.

• Strong experience with Angular development.

• Experience working with NextGen Sterling OMS on Cloud.

• Good understanding of Sterling OMS architecture, APIs, user exits, pipelines, services, and agents.

• Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP Web Services, and SQL.

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
