Experience Requirements

• Overall IT Experience: 6+ years
• Development Experience: 4+ years
• Coding Languages: Practical experience in 2 coding languages OR advanced practice in 1 language
• Mainframe Expertise: Strong hands-on coding in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC (IMS DB/DC is mandatory)
• Additional: Break-fix and development activities, architecture framework understanding, security and controls

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications across the SDLC.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver user-centric solutions.
• Create high-level architecture designs and determine suitable technology stacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, designers, architects).
• Define and implement test strategies aligned with organizational vision.
• Optimize performance and adopt emerging technologies for efficiency.
• Support secure coding practices (encryption, anonymization).
• Develop user interfaces and back-end applications (APIs, microservices).
• Participate in Agile practices, CI/CD, and continuous delivery.
• Report project status using Agile Central/Rally.
